Promoting Innovation: A project for the Relocation of the Catalan Plastic Center to the UPC Diagonal Besòs Campus.
We have carried out the project of relocating the Catalan Plastic Center to the UPC Diagonal Besòs Campus, specifically the execution of civil works and installations, Project Management, direction, and commissioning of the center, as well as the transfer of its machinery. With an installation area of 675 m², the project also includes the implementation of the Terrassa plastic research pilot plant to the Diagonal Besòs Campus, strictly complying with the scheduled timeline.
The Challenge
The main challenge we faced in this project was the coordination of the civil works and installations to ensure that all elements were ready for the machinery transfer. We also had to efficiently manage time and resources to ensure that the plastic research pilot plant was relocated without interruptions within the scheduled timeline.
The Solution
We applied an integral Project Management strategy in the transfer of the Catalan Plastic Center. Through a detailed project management plan, we efficiently coordinated and supervised all key aspects of the transfer, including the execution of civil works and installations, project direction, and commissioning of the center. Thanks to rigorous time, resources, and task management, we ensured the achievement of the project objectives within the scheduled deadlines and with high quality standards. Our Project Management task has been fundamental to guarantee the successful execution of the entire transfer project, with a comprehensive vision and meticulous supervision of the entire process.
We are proud to have been part of this project that will contribute to the improvement and development of the Catalan Plastic Center.
